Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model and producer from America. His fame was sparked by his appearance as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been on 20 features, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition to his work as a character in the film, he's appeared in over 22 TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. Two years later the cancer has gone into the process of remission. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on the body. This impeded his growth. Since he grew up in the poverty of his home, he longed to achieve financial stability. After living so modestly over the years I have to be able to enjoy this level of financial security. If not, the world appears to be beyond my control. The man also talks about his childhood to motivate him. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my soul." DJ's ideal role is to be a father in reel, as well as in real life. He isn't chosen by the director for these roles but he does say. He'd like to be a dad one day, so he can devote more time with his child and less to his career.
